Work inside a global Wintel server team in a time zone division mode called “Follow the Sun”, with colleagues based in NA and EMEA, to cover 24 hours Wintel server monitoring, administration, maintenance & repair with equipment vendors, as well as high incidents handling. Play role as incident coordinator in global team to make sure all the new coming incidents to be assigned to proper team member for handling, within 1 hour.Dedicate major time in AP hours to delivering customer supporting service, such as Active Directory and Citrix, in cooperation with other function teams such as EUS (End User Support), Business Intelligence and corresponding application teams, geographically ranging from China, India, Japan, Australia, New-Zealand, and South East Asia, while taking high priority for handling global high incidents. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Chinese for customer’s request & issue status understanding, internal team communication, as well as close cooperation with End User Support Teams for synergy devoting to issue resolution of end users across different regions and time zones.Use Powershell as scripting language to simplify the routine working processes.Using experience and knowledge of Legato as Backup Tool, HP Service Manager 7 as ITIL Tool, EMC Celera Manager as Storage Tool,BMC Patrol as Monitoring Tool,Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server as Citrix Administration Tool, VMware vSphere as virtual server Administration Tool.
