Main scope of work is summarized as bellow:1. SD (Structural Designer): Wind turbine blade structural design following IEC and internal design specifications. Epoxy and Polyester resin have been used for different blade design. Epoxy has been used for recent blade design. The blade has passed the static and fatigue test successfully in one time and certificate received as expected.2, FE engineer: Standard and non-standard FE analysis. Using MSC. Patran for the pre- and post-process, Abaqus is used as the solver. External and internal failure modes must be satisfied to ensure a safe blade design.3, Blade static and fatigue test: Oversee the execution of blade static and fatigue test, including the setup and load application. Benchmarking the measurements w.r.t the predictions right after the test is completed. In case of any anomalies, the blade testing shall be stopped until the cause is identified and resolved. Over 50 blades have been witnessed and majority of them survived the target loads and concluded as successful test.
