In this role, I am responsible for key research and development in data analysis and experimental design. In addition, I also performed research activities related to the the design of novel approaches for fundamental physics measurements beyond the cutting-edge of current technology limits. Part of my task includes working with up to 30 researchers under a UCNA research collaboration in establishing the direction and scope of analysis, designing research procedures, taking and analyzing data, and performing relevant R&D simulations. Significant accomplishments include:- Completed data analysis for three research projects, which influenced present physics theory, and contributed to the design of next-generation experiments.- Reorganized, streamlined, and took a leadership role in a construction process involving magnet coil component to reduce construction time from about three hours to just an hour and cutting manpower requirements from 12 people to just seven in accordance with COVID-19 protocols.- Credited with first-authorship of three publications in Physical Review C.- Presented research findings and data analysis results at five international conferences.

As a Consultant, I was tasked with providing strategic guidance with an environmental nonprofit partner in the optimization of global operations to ensure process replicability and scalability. Other duties duties include analyzing current operations, organizing and interpreting data, proposing new workflows, and outlining implementation roadmaps over the course of the 10-week project sprint. Significant accomplishments included:- Devised and presented a playbook that enabled the client organization to expand from present annual fundraising revenue of $750K to more than $3M in 2-3 years.- Invited to return in a Project Manager role to further our work in this project cycle.

As part of my internship, I performed independent research activities, and conducted presentation of analysis and findings before an audience, which comprised a theoretical lead researcher in Boston, Massachusetts, and an experimental team based in Hyogo, Japan. Notable accomplishments include:- Producing next-generation prototype design of a superconducting magnet, which doubled present carrying capacity through the production of a Python physics simulation model for the measurement and evaluation of results from in-house research experiment.- Offered to return after graduation for a long-term research position, due to reputation for excellent quality of work, and ability to learn quickly and make high-impact contributions.

As a member of the Come On Out - Japan Global English Camp program, I taught English communication skills to Japanese high-school/University aged students by using a week-long engaging and interactive curriculum. I reprised my role and added leadership responsibilities as a Group Leader for first-time interns in the program. My responsibilities included coordinating with local venues and personal intern team, communicating with overall program leadership, and resolving day-to-day issues to ensure smooth operation of program.Significant achievements included:- Personally complimented by CEO of overarching program for delivering outstanding results at all locations I was sent to.- Team members enjoyed program, leading to 4 of 10 interns returning as Group Leaders the following year (no other team had more than 1 of 10 intern return).

As a first-time intern in Come On Out - Japan's Global English Camp, I ran a English teaching immersion curriculum with groups of 4-6 high-school aged Japanese students. The program was designed to improve English communication skills by analyzing global issues and fostering critical thinking. As a mentor/teacher, I was responsible for delivering the fast-paced and objective-based curriculum material while being flexible enough to adapt the program to each student's needs and the constraints of our different teaching locations and their associated resources.Significant achievements included:- Consistently scored ~4.25/5 on English discussion score, whereas program average was around 3.25/5.- Recruited to return a second year in a leadership role despite program acceptance <10%.- Took a leadership role in organizing several groups at different venue locations to allow full-classroom activities.

As an undergraduate intern at TRIUMF, I worked as a member of the DRAGON collaboration, programming simulations and analyzing their results in order to help characterize experiment designs and parameters for analysis of critical nuclear astrophysical processes. Specifically, I used C++ to program a GEANT4 simulation and perform analysis using ROOT to extract systematic uncertainties of experiment run, and benchmarked simulations with in-house experimental data taken from radiation sources.Significant achievements included:- Simulation result directly incorporated into two published physics journal papers. One in Physical Review C and another in Physical Review Letters.

As an undergraduate researcher, I worked on an independent, small-scale research project developing a directional gamma-ray detector for proof-of-principle prototype usage in real-world radiation detection application. I improved available prototype by installing new electronics and radiation detection instruments, testing with calibration sources, data acquisition, deducing statistically significant results, coding simulations (GEANT4) to replicate results, analysis (ROOT) to extract performance and accuracy.
