How is an excellent advertisement created? Why do some advertisements choose to be placed on TV while others prefer to be placed on supermarket shelves? For me, I always think that a good ad always has an attractive charm. This is why I chose to study advertising at Syracuse University—three and a half years of university life taught me how to analyze the market and competing products. The most important thing is how to understand our consumers. With the deepening of learning, I realized that using tools and data to understand consumers has become more critical with the advent of the data age. So I choose to minor in information management and technology. At the same time, while studying as a graduate student at Columbia University, I gradually learned to use Google analytics, tableau, MySQL, Python, and R studio to analyze better. I think these will better assist me in developing marketing, business analytics, data analytics, and product management in the future.
