• Liaise with import clients on all aspects relating to their cargo including forwarding shipments and delivery of their containers• Ensure client's import clearance are lodged in a timely manner in accordance to the Australian import law• Resolve conflict relating to customs hold, container delivery, delivery requirements, duty refunds• Taking responsibility to avoid unnecessary storage charges or detention charges• Well-knowledged in the Cargowise system - a single platform for global network visibility

• Ensure on-time and complete deliveries, with smooth communication of shipment activity with internal and external customers. • Prepare full set of shipping documents (Packing List, Delivery Order, Commercial Invoice, Certificate of Origin, Form D).• Place Air & Sea shipment booking with agent for export shipments.• Arranging transportation to move the cargo from factory to port.• Discuss with store personnel regarding delivery date of goods for export and incoming container trucking status.• Ensure products are shipped per customer requirements. • Work with plant, warehouse, marketing, purchasing and logistics departments to determine and intercompany transfers.• Responsible for all aspects of Purchasing such as order fulfilment, sourcing & negotiation, and development of new suppliers.• Assist in conducting supplier analysis and facilitate early identification and timely resolution of problems, changes, disputes and claims.

• Responsible for timely and cost efficient transport of containers by rail, truck and feeder vessel to and fro locations within Singapore ports• Close tracing / monitoring / planning for high quality transhipment connection• To continually improve schedule reliability in order to build customer satisfaction• To ensure space protection and execution for quickest connections• Furnish special cargo application and ensure approval is granted before acceptance/loading of special cargo onboard• Attend cargo closing and liaise with feeder company & trucking company to settle if required• Ensure all special (Dangerous, Reefer, and OOG) cargo are supported by special cargo list to terminal office and out port offices• Create and prepare work-orders in both SAP-MM and FIS• Update container on-carriage/vessel connection and schedule in FIS

• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow• Ensure timely delivery of cargo to customer• Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards• Contribute to maintain good relationships with suppliers (Ocean carriers, trucking companies and others involved).• Prepare and provide documentations such as Letter of Indemnity, Seaway Bill, Bill of Lading
