• Researched manufacturing topography surface sampling on MEMS surface.• Used Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) instrument to measure sampled surface and collect data.• Designed new sampling methods based on Cantor set concept and reduced 90% of the original sample size. • Proved validity of this new sampling method and found its effectiveness on topography sampling by using Matlab.Utilized software:Matlab, Excel.
