A member of Ads and Data team, mainly worked on below projects:- Yahoo Ad Manager Plus, a demand side platform(DSP), it is an extension of Yahoo Ad Manager for large advertisers to plan, execute and optimize complex display ad campaigns directly, giving them greater control over the performance of their ads on Yahoo and third-party programmatic inventory. Mainly worked on the SSP onboarding task, imported 2 SSPs bid requests into YAM+. In charge of the replication server which loads offline data into user profile server to support online serving (e.g. user interest tags).Techs: Zookeeper, Kafka, OpenRTB- Data Acquisition(DAC) is the Data Ingestion part of Behavior Targeting framework in Yahoo. It is mainly used to extract, filter Ad servers’ logs and convert them into an uniform internal format for downstream to do modeling and analysis base on user behavior. I mainly worked on the DAC Oozie pipelines’ development, released them to production environment, added new features and maintained it for a long time. Techs: MapReduce, HDFS, Pig, Oozie- Facebook pipeline Facebook pipeline collects daily events that using Facebook id to login Yahoo website, it extracts the Facebook id list from the events and then crawls all the open info of the Facebook ids based on Facebook open API. The open info are: demography info, liked pages, connections and so on. These info will be used to extract user interest and stored on HDFS to be consumed by scoring component. I participated in maintaining this pipeline for few months. Techs: Java, Oozie, HDFS
