Worked at the 701 Alabama Mission Resource Hub during global pandemic to o er services of Clinica Martin Baro to provide people with primary healthcare and sending out referrals to Healthy San Francisco (HSF) to partner people up with a primary care physician and medical home.

Worked alongside the Latino Task Force in contacting COVID positive patients in the Mission District of San Francisco to provide patients with economic resources during the global pandemic.and gathering up information via REDCAPP for the San Francisco Department of Public Health to review and analyze.

Work alongside the community of San Francisco’s Mission District promoting both physical and mental health services Clinica M.B. o ers. Help coordinate fundraisers to collect money for basic utilities to help the community and access better resources.

Worked alongside study researcher Dr. Judith Walsh and study coordinator Stephanie Reynold to do recruitment calls on current smokers and informing them of the UCSF CONNECT study that seeks information on which resources best help when attempting to quit. In addition doing phone counseling sessions spaced out every 2-4 weeks and following up on how experience is going and how we can further assist. Lastly, was able to gain insight and knowledge of new UCSF study that I was able to join virtual meetings for and contribute ideas to further the study creation process.

Nonprofit organization dealing with research towards diabetes and obesity to better educate the public. Assisted Kelly Close, President and Founder of organization with travel itineraries to diabetes conferences globally. Took leadership in running the high school internship program and teaching on board responsibilities. Organized calendar schedule with upcoming conferences, phone calls, and in person meetings.

High School Volunteers is a program that assists Club member’s ages 13 to 18 explore a career in youth or human services, particularly Boys & Girls Club work. Young people prepare for future roles as human services professionals by participating in career development activities, discovering the importance of community service, building customer service skills and completing a Club apprenticeship
