I am a Colorado College graduate with a B.A. in Philosophy, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches. I'm seeking opportunities where I can apply my skills in critical analysis, information management, written communication, and research. Throughout my time on the Block Plan system, in which students are immersed in small discussion-based classes one at a time for 3.5 weeks, I consistently submitted substantive and carefully written works. These include collaborative research projects, analytical papers, and daily journals, abstracting and distilling high volumes of complex information into its most important elements. In these experiences, I learned to synthesize complex information from various sources, including contemporary, comparative, critical, and historical approaches. This required sustained engagement with substantial and often dense reading loads. Close analytical reading and interpretation of complex texts made me adept at tracing lines of reasoning, implications, key insights, and potential responses. In addition, I developed critical writing skills by practicing systematic, multifaceted examinations of sociopolitical problems. I also ensured well-thought-out papers and projects that considered multiple viewpoints by conducting research using academic databases. This involved thoroughly reviewing academic journals, archives, indexes, and other periodicals to extract and contextualize relevant information.Along with instilling a strong willingness to learn, my liberal arts education has prepared me to question assumptions, think critically, and adapt to today's challenges—abilities that are highly transferable to my professional experiences. As a courthouse intern, I performed case information searches and connected underserved communities with legal resources. In my role as a philanthropy fellow, I continued to engage in justice advocacy, contributing to meaningful educational equity projects and discussions.I am eager to bring my skillset to diverse and intersecting areas, approaching them with the same level of immersion, attention to detail, and strong work ethic as my academic and professional experiences.
