I am working on health benefits package development in LMICs, in support of Universal Health coverage. My work touches upon convergence of HBPs with vertical programs. This has changed significantly with the COVID-19 outbreak - I am now spending most of my time on the COVID-19 Multimodel comparison collaboration (see https://decidehealth.world/CMCC) and a project on tracking and measuring indirect health effects of the COVID outbreak and policy response.

I work with the International Decision Support Initiative on supporting the development of Health Technology Assessment and use of economic evaluation for priority setting in health (in low and middle income countries, with a focus on SubSaharan Africa and China). In particular, my project focuses on Kenya, where I work on:- the development of an economic evaluation on a quality improvement program in support of differentiated care pathways for the delivery of anti-retroviral therapy to patients living with HIV (in collaboration with the National STI and AIDS Control Program and the National AIDS Control Council)- technical support to the Ministry of Health to support the development of a health benefits package for Kenya's UHC plans.I also work on other tasks such as the support to the production of knowledge products, methods development for measuring cost-effectiveness of Performance Based Financing, cost-effectiveness thresholds or the development of the HTA toolkit. I also support the Joint Learning Network Efficiency collaborative on data and evidence needs for health prioritisation in LMICs.

I was part of the health financing team at the Global Financing Facility. My role focused on:- support to the Ministry of Health of Cameroon on improving allocative efficiency for public resource allocation decisions.- support on various health financing issues such as donor fragmentation, costing methods, efficiency mesaurement- Analysis and writing up of a study looking at projections of general government health expenditure in different domestic resource mobilization scenario

Beyond medical expenditure: estimating the impact of health shocks on the welfare and socio-economic outcomes of Chinese households

Conducted a review of donor profiles in emergency and humanitarian work to support the WHO's financing strategy for the new WHO emergency work. Outputs: full report, recommendations directed to inform the financing of this new work, peer-reviewed journal article preparation.
