Roles and Responsibilities:Logistics Management:• Working with the Marketing coordinators' for smooth functioning. • Get the PO and L/C from the Marketing department.• As for customer instructions arrange the inspection/ fumigation SGS & Intertek and bureau varieties.• Checking the Production Schedule and available stock material according to that Planning for shipping.• If the big volumes we will contract liners & if the small volumes we will contract forwards,• Get the quotation from to FF & different liners and vessel schedule. • Compare the rate and shipping Schedule then finalize the liner for the shipment.• To send all documents invoice and packing list & IIP and certificate of origin.• Follow-up with forward for arranging the container, DO, Booking conformation & Vessel Details.• After getting the DO we will check gate open/ cut off.• To deal with the transportation and arrange the vehicles for clearance of goods.• Drafting the B/L copy & collect the B/L copy after approval.• Tracking the online container status with vessel detail of each and every container & also Tracking Shipments, updating clients/customers on ETD, ETA.• Coordinating with Shipping Lines for Various matters, Freight Payments, Free Days.• Once we receive the original bill of lading to arrange the ocean fright payment.• Coordinating with finance Department day to day to arrange pending invoice amount monthly.• Prepare & Update logistics and Export related monthly report & submitted to our Manager.• Regular visit to transporter and find new transporter for better movement.• Preparing the weekly & monthly reports & submitting to our HOD.
