About Ya-Chi Ho

I am Ho Ya-Chi. I graduated from National Tsing Hua University in 2012. My major was Power Mechanical Engineering. I studied heat pipes, fans, TIM, and nanotechnology. I published two papers related to heat flow. After graduation, I worked in the field of heat flow for seven years.From 2018 to 2019, I worked as deputy project manager at TiSPACE. I designed thermal protection of rocket, thermal simulation on communication system inside rocket, and designed heat dissipation system. Besides, I operated the thermal imager and thermocouple to test the temperature change of the antennas and cameras of the rocket. From 2017 to 2018, I worked as senior engineer at Pegatron coporation. I did thermal simulation on various network communication products, and designed heat dissipation systems. Products included AR glasses, smart home, laptops and Server.From 2012 to 2017, I worked as an assistant researcher at the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology. I designed thermal imaging cameras, thermal simulation on various communication products, and designed various thermal test equipment and experiments. Besides, I researched thin heat pipes, and published patents.

    1. 火箭地對空通訊系統散熱分析,有高速震動和強大加速度外,影響被動散熱元件的熱傳導值和最大熱傳量,設計實驗以及熱流模擬,設計出適合的散熱系統。2. 火箭飛行的熱防護,利用燒蝕材料進行火箭前端的熱模擬。設計實驗推算燒蝕材料在單位時間下的熱傳導值以及化學變化需要的熱量,推算出進入彈體的真實瓦數。利用熱流模擬以及飛行模擬,正確算出燒蝕材料的尺寸及厚度,最終成功減少總重量25%。3. 火箭內膽雙旋轉流分析,在雙軸塑膠迴轉成型前,利用熱流模擬分析內膽的冷卻速度,並計算出正確的兩軸速度以及各區域的溫度變化。使用軟體:ANSYS、SolidWorks、FloEFD、MatLab、Python

    1. Google Nest智慧家電散熱設計,熱流模擬自然對流狀況,並作暫態和穩態分析,確定CPU、FEM等元件的Tc Spec可以Pass。2. Intel 的Mini-PC散熱設計,利用強制對流和鰭片設計,其中最佳化鰭片,尋找最合適的Heatsink base以及鰭片長寬厚和間距,最後比原先的設計可以優化30%左右的性能。3.     1. 光電感測元件封裝設計及模擬,須通過環境測驗,包括震動實驗、加速度實驗和高低溫循環衝擊實驗。利用經驗公式設計,並電腦模擬後,進行實作組裝,最後順利通過環境實驗。2. 室溫熱像高真空封裝,並導入TE致冷器,須進入無塵室進行wire bonding和精密組裝及定位,後續利用渦輪幫浦和離子幫浦製造高真空環境。3. 開發超高速冷卻系統,過往感測元件從室溫冷卻到77K最快需要花費30秒左右,而此案利用JT致冷器,以及感測器封裝散熱設計,讓冷卻速度只需要10秒,縮短傳統3倍的速度。4. 超薄型熱管開發,當時最薄厚度的熱管約0.6mm,而為了公司內部電路版散熱,開發0.4mm超薄厚度的熱管做散熱,並發表出專利。使用軟體:MatLab、SolidWorks、ANSYS、FloEFD
