Responded to emergency and non-emergency situations including fires, medical injuries and illness, hazardous materials spills, major accidents, natural disasters, and other emergency situations. Carried out specific assigned duties such as connecting hoses, operating equipment, emergency vehicle driving and operation, positioning ladders, rescuing victims, and administering life support care as allowed as an EMT Advanced. When the circumstances/situations escalate beyond what is safe for normal Police Officers, I am activated with the North Metro Swat Team to respond and regain control over the incident. In order to be a Swat Operator, it is essential that I am able to function properly in high stress level environments. Team work is vital in order for our team to be successful. Being able to interpret important information and perform at a high level is expected and required. We are put in very dangerous situations where human life is always at risk. This is a voluntary position that requires one to be self-motivated, willing to sacrifice a lot of personal time, and to always be willing to put the lives of others before your own.

Responded quickly to dispatch and took appropriate action at crime and disaster scenes. Mediated domestic-related disturbances to a peaceful resolution to minimize risk to family and general public. Gathered preliminary investigation information as a first responder to accident and crime scenes. Wrote reports on arrests made, activities performed, and unusual incidents observed. Actively participated in multiple undercover criminal investigations. Regularly volunteered in community outreach programs to improve the relations between law enforcement and the community.

As the Coordinator for Security, I manage a team of twenty five Officers. Along with managing my staff, I oversee all daily operations involving the Security Department. Leading and organizing weekly/monthly meetings for joint departments. Along with other certified trainers, I provide all in house training (i.e. Verbal Escalation, physical restraining for combative subjects, Field Training Officers).

Certified Georgia Peace Officer and SWAT Operator. I answer any and all calls for service along with writing detailed reports of such occurrences. Patrolling assigned daily beats and maintaining a good relationship with the community is essential to gaining the public's trust. I respond to hostile domestic disturbances where I am expected to decipher the situation and take the appropriate course of action; whether it be to make an arrest, separation, or mediation. I process all crime scenes and conduct investigations on all possible leads. It is critical to always remain current and knowledgeable on all Georgia Statutes/Codes together with being up to date with case law. Along with completing my daily policing duties, I also spend a lot of time in court testifying and being called as an expert witness to various cases/crimes.

When needed, I would assist with local law enforcement agencies with providing them video surveillance and documented reports. Providing building security and employee safety were my most important daily objectives. Being proactive when time permitted, was critical to achieving our mission statement.
