Immediate Past President of the Rabbinical Association of Australasia and Co-Vice President of the Rabbinical Council of Victoria. White Ribbon Community Partner (formerly known as Ambassador) raising awareness and contributing towards the elimination of violence against women. Lecturer on a range of social and religious issues to a broad spectrum of the community and became the first religious leader invited to speak at the Tedx Melbourne speaking forum. Past Rabbi at the North Eastern Jewish Centre from 2005-2011 and past President of the Rabbinical Council of Victoria from 2009-2012. Appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2021 Queen's Birthday Honours list in recognition of significant service to Judaism and interfaith dialogue, to rabbinical bodies, and to the community. Received Rabbinic Ordination from the Rabbinical College of America and earned his Master's Deegree in the Hebrew Letters from the Rabbinical College of Greater Miami. Completed his Master's Degree in Counselling at Monash University.
