After a 35-year career at The New York Times, retiring as group director for creative services, and 12 years at Chabad.org as senior editor, news editor, and now contributing senior editor, my main focus these days is on writing a book of my own on the evolution of human consciousness from the perspective of Kabbalah and Chassidut. It's a project that's been in my mind for at least a decade, and connecting with like-minded teachers and students from all faiths and backgrounds has been the most joyful aspect of the project.
