As a passionate Engineer I am continuously striving towards self-improvement, gain experience and further leanings in my work and personal life. As challenges arise, I am motivated to address them proactively to find the best solution, moving forward. Over my 2 years of experience I have worked in both technical and hospitality roles to develop both my technical, social, leadership and managerial skills, making me a well-rounded candidate in most roles I pursue.My works alongside the lead engineer at the start-up company Bio-fuel Innovations was incredibly interesting and dynamic. The challenge in my role was to apply my years of academic studies to a real life process engineering example, converting grease trap to renewable diesel. We worked closely with RMIT university to encourage smart collaboration on the project and drive innovation, despite being limited as a small start-up.Volunteering for community is an important part of my life. I have worked with Redcross as a Telecross volunteer for more than two years now, where I speak to retirees and older people about their well being. We explore various issues (mental & physical) affecting their life, to provide a sounding board and an opportunity to circumvent their emotional stress. This role has taught me true empathy and given me an opportunity to help people who need it.I am also helping new students (international students) who come to Melbourne for further studies and face difficulties in finding jobs, accommodation and cope up with studies as a part of Welcome to Melbourne Program organised by The University of Melbourne.
