He aspires to take leadership role in research and development in the fields of industrial automation, automotive engineering, and/or manufacturing.Yabang Liu began his undergraduate study at Syracuse University and continued his program in Cornell University in 2013 Fall as a junior. He is expected to graduate in 2015 May. On campus, he is a member of Cornell Formula SAE and responsible for engine fluid dynamics simulation and assists engine tunning. At Syracuse University, he was Prof. Uptal Roy’s only undergraduate research assistant at that moment. He was also a teaching assistant for some engineering classes. Between each school years, he acquired hard skills in mechanical design and project development as well as soft skills in leadership and presentation through internships and work. In the past four years, he worked as a deputy general manager in Guangzhou Runco Culture & communications Co., Ltd, and a chief engineer assistant in Leebang Metal and Mould Factory, etc. After having explored different industries, Yabang Liu realizes engineering is the most interesting field and expects to develop a career on it.
