HelloMy name is YaChu (YC). I am a researcher with a background in psychology. Educational inequality and digital rights are issues I care about.Most of my work has been in non-profit organizations (NPOs). Early on, my research focused on education and digital learning, and I also have experience with UX for digital products. Recently, I have been working on cognitive warfare, understanding the impacts of information operation and misinformation on public behaviour and attitudes toward democracy, and developing action plans to combat these problems.▫️The attitude of researchI believe the importance of research lies in using data to understand situations (data-informed) and develop action plans based on that understanding. The execution of these action plans then provides us with more data to continuously improve our understanding.▫️ The approach of my methodsIn terms of my research approach, I select methods that are most suitable for addressing the research questions at hand. In principle, I employ both qualitative and quantitative methods, typically using a mixed-methods design with a quantitative emphasis supplemented by qualitative elements.
