Joined Ahmedabad Plant as End-to-End Value Chain Planner- Responsible for Supply Chain Operations for Railway Segment, vendor management, scheduling of Raw materials, Customer Order book Management, Production Planning, Raw material and Finished Product Inventory Management, ERP Maintenance, Customer Service parameters maintenance, Capacity Planning, Indirect material planning, Training & Mentorship, and Software deployment.-Managed Supply Chain Step Up Program and mentored three team members to reduce process gaps such as lead time inconsistency (–10%), overdue order lines (reduced to zero) , purchase and manufacturing order backlog (achieved zero), improving customer service levels- reduced availability failures from 35% to 12% and reliability failures from 25% to 10%.-Supply Chain Head for Railway segment for SKF India- Streamlined operations and improved customer service for railway segment, resulting in ~300% order increase.-Led Digital Transformation of SCM processes leading to accumulated savings of ~300 MINR annually --Deployed Supply Integration Manager (SIM) software – for five International SKF vendors, to improve visibility within supply chain network and automate purchase order communication systems. --Implemented Service Optimizer Software for reducing excess finished product stock through integrated planning for four global markets ( ~ reduced 300 MINR worth inventory).-Oversaw development of indirect material visual catalog (for ~2500 items) to help end users place correct material request at stores.-Reduced the total channel inventory by 80 MINR through product code classification and frequency optimization. - Reduced the IDM inventory by changing the ordering pattern to consumption based ordering, challenging vendor MOQs, and finding alternative applications for obsolete grinding wheels—Decreased IDM inventory by ~11 MINR (~12%) within 6 months.
