 Led successful turnaround of failing deco paint system launch at sister facility in 8 months, then led successful temporary deco system development/launch in Ormond in 3 months avoiding late shipments.  Managed development of new decorative aluminum overlay processes adding screen print, roll coat, flame treat, lamination, steel rule die cutting, optical registration compound stamping, and adhesive dispensing.  Orchestrated significant revised plant layout, including combination of different paint systems to create enhanced functionality process that continues to produce large volume, high profit margin products.

Areas of responsibility include management of Plant Program Management / Engineering, FPE Corporate Validation Lab, Injection Molding, Paint / Coating, Stamping, and Tooling departments in Ormond Beach facility. Projects have included a major plant re-layout with 2 paint system redesigns, 3 obsolete paint systems retired, and relocation of 9 injection molding machines; significant capital optimization with proprietary design implementation; numerous VA/VE improvements and new products developed and launched. FPE Ormond is widening scope beyond Automotive, with growing success and experience in Medical and Industrial sectors.

Responsible for leading VA / VE opportunity development and realization for all 4 FPE Manufacturing Facilities.

Led program development for all existing Ormond Beach plant customers and inaugural programs with Tier 1 to Hyundai (Mobis)

Engineering lead for Customer Tech Reviews resulting in award of $15M+ in GM takeover business. Directed launch of initial GM program transfer (conquest); received commendations from customer's senior level purchasing and engineering management, opening door for subsequent program takeovers.

Leadership of program teams during reorganization and heavy launch years ('06 = 51, '07 = 101 programs). Implemented APQP System, FPE Portal, significant VA/VE's, and Tooling Standard. Posiiton eliminated with move of corporate to Troy, Michigan

Relocated to Ormond as key member of restructuring team following a change in Executive Management. Coordinated activities through two Hurricanes with minimal issues. Notably improved profitability and reduced customer complaints.

Responsible for management and profitability of both FPE manufacturing facilities in Ohio. Achieved TS16949 certifications, improved PM systems, launched synchronous primer line, self contained water treatment system, and 50:1 colorant.

Relocated to save failing manufacturing facility. Achieved QS9000 within 9 months, and 3 consecutive surveillance audits with zero non-conformances. Established and led team that achieved significant profitable growth in Tier 1 business with Honda.
