Cybersecurity for Democracy is a multi-university center for problem-driven research and research-driven policy. We conduct cutting-edge research to better understand the distorting effects of algorithms and AI tools on large online networks and work with platforms and regulators to help all parties understand the implications of our findings and develop solutions.I work on policy solutions for how social media, AI-powered algorithms, and Generative AI affect political discourse, polarization, and democracy. We combine deep computer science and tech policy expertise to drive impact across multiple levels, including with tech companies and government legislators and regulators.

- ADL Center for Technology & Society is a research-driven advocacy center that works to end the proliferation of antisemitism and all forms of hate and harassment online. -- Served as Vice President Biden's Special Advisor for both key Africa policy matters and global national security issues. -- Worked with the National Security Council and White House offices to formulate and coordinate foreign policy, including on security, conflict prevention, humanitarian, and diplomatic issues. -- Represented OVP at events, with foreign leaders, on panels, and at senior-level policy meetingsthroughout the interagency. Managed all elements of outreach, communication, and policy on Africa, including as the White House lead for and delegate on the Vice President’s trip to Africa.
