As a Junior Architect at PKT, I gained hands-on experience in various critical aspects of architectural design and project management. My role involved a combination of technical and creative responsibilities, including:Schematic Design Development: I assisted in creating initial design concepts and schematic layouts for various projects. This included drafting preliminary floor plans, elevations, and sections based on client requirements and project specifications. My role required close collaboration with senior architects to refine these designs and ensure they met functional, aesthetic, and regulatory standards.Detailed Engineering Drawings: I was responsible for producing detailed architectural drawings, including construction documents, technical plans, and section views. These drawings were essential for guiding the construction process and included precise details on materials, dimensions, and assembly instructions. I utilized software such as AutoCAD and ArchiCAD to create and modify these documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.Cost Estimation and Budget Planning: I participated in the preparation of cost estimates and budget plans for projects. This involved quantifying materials, estimating labor costs, and evaluating overall project expenses. I worked closely with project managers and cost estimators to develop accurate budgets and ensure that projects remained within financial constraints.
