Mechanical Engineer
Current- Led the mechanical engineering design, modeling, and management for 30+ sustainable built environment projects that fulfill the triple bottom line of People, Planet, and Profit. Project sectors include: commercial, high end residential, medical facilities, aerospace, data centers, and lab buildings.- Designed and implemented mechanical systems for two large-scale data center buildings, optimized cooling and ventilation for 6,000+ server racks.- Developed and implemented a novel clean energy concept for the Seattle Zoo project, utilizing underground heat exchangers and variable refrigerant units.- Involved in the mechanical design for a 200,000 sq. ft. renovation and expansion of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, achieving LEED Gold certification and establishing it as the Port of Seattle’s first fully electric project.- Effectively communicate with clients to better illustrate potential project pathways that can be taken to increase energy and water efficiency in a fiscally viable manner.- Experienced in the selection of clean energy system equipment and technologies. Strong understanding of installation, operation, and maintenance (IO&M) of equipment.- Compiled and created all documentation to ensure projects are in accordance with state requirements.
