Hello everyone, I'm Yahir and am a first generation student pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Cal Poly! Outside the classroom, I serve as the business lead for Cal Poly Racing managing social media, sponsorship, apparel, and business competition needs which has allowed me to translate knowledge gained in the classroom into practical leadership skills. Beyond Cal Poly, I dedicate time to supporting my family, who face language barriers. Whenever possible, I provide assistance and ensure effective communication. Driven by my goals of breaking generational barriers and pursuing a career in business, I aspire to inspire other first generation students to pursue their education goals and dreams.
