Reporting directly to the CEO, responsibilities include: - Personal leadership of sales and marketing teams;- Identifying business opportunities (new customers/new products);- Assuming direct sales responsibility for specific customers (e.g. Key Account Management);- Informing sales team continuously about market/country/group developments;- Troubleshooting severe customer problems - Developing the local sales and marketing teams and encouraging team building;- Supporting/motivating the daily management of the local sales and marketing teams;- Supporting sales and marketing teams in compiling the company's budget and demand planning;- Participating in the management team on a company-wide level;- Managing the marketing strategy of the company; - Managing branding, pricing, product positioning, marketing communications; - Identifying/developing new sales opportunities;- Signing paperwork for day-to-day business;- Applying for customer credit limit/taking appropriate steps when credit limits are exceeded or when overdue;- Conducting sales negotiations;- Preparing/calculating contracts/offers for the customer;- Communicating supply shortages/product allocation to affected customers;- Management and development of dealers as a sales channel;- Establishing brand reputation.
