Basically, in the capacity of Associate Consultant within the company, the scope of the job responsibility is quite broad. The company offers various Risk frameworks such as Basel II, COSO, SOX, Solvency and many other such related frameworks to many Financial Institutions in Pakistan and around the world, with which we do Risk Assessments, Management Consultancy in order to ensure better compliance of our clients with the Government Regulatory Authorities.Personally, At this job, I have looked at the following clients with their respective nature of the projects:1) Habib Bank Limited- Basel II Operation Risk Assessment.2) Allied Bank Limited- Basel II Operational Risk Assessment.3) Habib Metropolitan Bank- COSO Operation Risk Assessment.4) Allied Bank Limited- Credit Risk Modeling Project.

The internship was done on a rotation basis. For the first week, Finance & Planning department was explored under which, the part of the ongoing project of Expenditure Budgeting was conducted for the upcoming fiscal year. Besides, exposure was also obtained from the company's Supply Chain division, while making a financial model for procurement of company's raw materials. A project was also assigned within Engro's Banking & insurance division.

During the course of internship, I worked at the company's Chemicals (Sales) division. The assigned project was a research based, which included computing and assessing the total market potential of certain products to be launched by the company. Several industrial sectors and their key players were thoroughly studied for their purchasing potential.

The internship was done at the company's Finance (Control) department, and the nature of the project included assistance to the management for their SOX implementation within their company. The primary responsibility was to update the company's manuals to assist the management in designing controls for it.

I worked at the Finance (Treasury) department of the company. The project assigned to me was to coordinate and assist the management of the department in the year end closing of accounts such as Provident Funds, Employee Loans, Travel Expenses, Pension Funds, Mutual Funds, Bank Reconciliations and several other tasks were assigned during the course of the internship.
