• Plan, Program and deliver project to Clients requirements• Supervise Dams and site practice to agreed time scales and budgets• Negotiate contractual issues and claims from Contractors• Interpretation of design and implementation - Make modifications to suit site conditions• Carry out consultation and liaison with County staff, County Councilors and contractors on scheme proposals to ensure smooth transition to project completion• Direct, control and priorities activities of Clerk of Works, Land-Survey and County Highway Laboratory to effect delivery of the Project within the corporate aims of the Employer• Compile reports and keep records on all contract-related matters e.g. Day works, claims information, as-built drawings, developed Health & Safety files• Establish, monitor and maintain safe working procedures for site staff to meet the Employer's and all Statutory requirements.

• Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications• Reading, interpreting, and explaining complex technical documents.• Ensuring building plans, prototypes, and structures are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.• Working closely with a team of other professionals such as project managers , building service engineers , construction managers , quantity surveyors and architectural technologists• Completing planning applications and taking advice from local authorities, legal professionals and governmental new build departments• Specifying the requirements for each project• Playing a role in project and team management• Viewing building sites, proposed locations and client meetings.

• Communicating the goals of the company to all engineers and professionals in the team.• Creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications• Writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts• Supervising every phase of the project from start to completion.• Calculating costs, material, labor, and time required for each project.• Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time.• Delegating tasks to engineering teams.• Managing budgets and project resources.• Performing quality control checks on all systems and products.
