Ms. Yaimé Rullán Cabrera is the Mortgage Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Manager at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. She a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), an attorney with approved Federal Bar and Puerto Rico State Bar, and a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) with over 15 years of experience in accounting, legal and business consulting matters.Her experience includes advising the Government of Puerto Rico on tax reform, legislation, disclosure, insolvency, restructuring and litigation strategies. Yaimé was the Founding and Managing Member of Financial Guidance Advisors, LLC (FGA), a bookkeeping, compliance and consulting services firm. There, she served as the consulting practice leader and provided services as financial advisor to debtors in bankruptcy cases.Before founding FGA, she was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for the Puerto Rico Department of The Treasury, served as Principal Advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, and served as Deputy Advisor on Economic Development and Fiscal Affairs to the Governor of Puerto Rico. Previously, she served as a Tax Accountant for Deloitte Tax LLP.Yaimé received a Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a Bachelors Degree on Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Finance and Industrial Management from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus.
