For the past 4 years, I have worked as a Candidate Attorney/Associate at Rothbart Inc, an Associate for Jurgens Bezuidenhout Inc, and a senior associate at Paul Friedman & Associates Inc, as well as consulting under my own name for a number of medium sized firms within the commercial sphere of law. I have run a large number of corporate/commercial matters and have gained considerable experience in corporate transactions, litigation and advisory capacities. I have a proven track record with regard to supplying large corporate clients with effective and comprehensive legal solutions in a great variety of corporate transactions and litigations. In 2013, I completed an LLM in Commercial Law with distinction, and was awarded the chancellors medal for attaining the highest LLM result at the University of Johannesburg. My thesis on the effect that corporate governance has on the cost of capital is in the process of being published for the TSAR.This year I have taken on roles within the venture capital sector with particular emphasis on private equity, and have acted on behalf of asset management firms in the setting up, structuring and operation of venture capital funds within the private equity sphere.
