Research & development of a genuine pattern matching algorithm and decision support system on stock chart patterns (formations). System can be used on demand for detecting 17 different chart patterns on any financial instrument. Buy, sell, wait, short sell signals and price target informations are supplied for each detected chart pattern as decision support. A central system is developed for continuously searching for chart patterns on over 500 financial instruments (forex, stock, index, commodity) for 24 hours. Chart patterns are stored in a MSSQL database, then users can query formations on multiple financial instruments using the central system by supplying advanced options which can be personalized (such as formation type, movement direction, similarity, formation size, period).
