Evgeniy Yakushev is an entrepreneur, visionary, consultant and public speaker. Since 1991, Evgeniy has been actively involved into the private Pension Funds industry development and held senior positions in leading Russian pension funds and asset management companies.Founded in 1992 by Evgeniy Yakushev, "Pension & Actuarial Consulting" (P&AC) has helped launch pension businesses in Russia for global players like ING, Aviva, Generally, Allianz, and Raiffeisen. The company holds leading positions in the services of actuarial valuation of pension funds and in accordance with IFRS-19.In 2010, Evgeniy became a co-founder and Chairman of the Board of the NPF"European Pension Fund", attracted investments from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. In 5 years, the European Pension Fund grew from a startup into one of the top 10 Russian pension funds and has attracted more than 1.5 million customers for 2nd pillars. As Chairman of the Board of Directors, Evgeniy was responsible for Strategy, Risk Management, GR & PR, led the digital platform project and risk management.Evgeniy Yakushev is a member of the board of the Russian Association of Pension Funds and heads the strategy committee. Evgeniy Yakushev is a supporter of sustainable development goals, actively promotes the ideas of Responsible Investing and introducing ESG practices in the investment process, participates in working groups on green bonds, infrastructure funds and public-private partnerships with the Bank of Russia.Evgeniy Yakushev is also a member of the Actuarial Council under the Bank of Russia (Russian Central Bank), co-founder and Executive Director of the Association of Professional Actuaries (Russia). Evgeniy heads the organizing committee of the Moscow Actuarial Forum, a key event in the actuarial professional community in Russia.As a recognized scholar, Evgeniy Yakushev heads the Laboratory of the Development of the Pension System in the National Research University "Higher School of Economics" (modeling the Russian pension system and forecasting of the development of long-term care, issues of aging). Evgeniy is a member of the European Dialogue expert group.Having entrepreneurial mindset, Evgeniy Yakushev actively invests into the “silver economy” sector (AgeTech) and breakthrough IT technologies for determining the biological age leveraging AI (InsurTech). Projects are based on the deep knowledge of system processes in the Life & Pensions industry and the growing needs of older generations.
