As the owner and directing manager of Dereli Maden, Derbent Maden and Founder of Dereli Art, I am a strong visionary with 10-plus years experience in business development. I have actively participated in increasing the capital and shares in several companies. A gifted negotiator and sales manager with significant experience in Turkey and Scandinavia, I am a partner and board member at the limestone aggregate supplier, a Finnish company Nordeka that operates in Turkey. Nordeka is the main limestone supplier of Canakkale bridge construction, the longest between Europe and Asia.Operating a luxury marble and quality limestone company, Dereli family has been in business for three generations. It was first founded by my grandfather İsmet Dereli and his brothers as Dereliler in the 1940s until my father Hayreddin Dereli and his brother started his own branch in the 1980s, and I took the lead in 2011, Based on a strong foundation and long experience, together with my team I was able to secure continuation of our firm for the next generation to come. Today, we are a modern industry providing only high-quality materials, with top reserves. In 2019, I started a new marble block business from scratch. Today, Dereli Art is known for having one of the finest reserves of white marble & dolomite. We are reliable, innovative and known for customer satisfaction and for being revolutionary. Committed to sustainability, we have a vision to become the first carbon & waste free quarry for a better future. In my world, not a day goes by without new ideas. Very sensitive to creativity and social questions, I have developed an art village project giving artists the chance to use leftover marble materials for crafting sculptures.
