My experience in both traditional and digital media includes an expertise in audio/video content production, talent scouting, music distribution, digital consulting, marketing strategy, and managing teams across multiple markets. I recently led a team to transform Virgin Radio Turkey into Turkey’s first ever rap music station (a first for Virgin Radio Group globally), becoming a trendsetter in the industry. Now, I work as a consultant at my own the digital first, creative music agency called “Kontentmaker”, where I focus on creating globally approved video content for Apple Music and curating custom playlists for brands such as TikTok and Karnaval Media Group.I have a passion for the independent music scene which led me to create “First Listen”, a weekly radio show and music project - focused on the genres of Hip Hop and Alternative - that supports new talent and helps listeners discover new music. Previously, I was Head of Production and Programming for MTV/Viacom group in Turkey, as well as one of the founding members, and later Chief Content Officer of Turkey's first and biggest radio streaming platform Karnaval.com. At Karnaval, I launched of one of Turkey's first music MCNs, which also includes the live music channels JoyTurk Akustik and B!P Akustik I created that now have over 773 million+ views on YouTube alone. I am also the creator of Turkey's first true crime podcast "Kadın" featuring well known artist Gülben Ergen, as well as Turkey's award-winning, most listened to radio show/downloaded podcast for 7 years (2012-2019) “Ara Gaz" featuring Kadir Çöpdemir and Pascal Nouma.
