Chad is a strategic visionary constantly thinking outside of the box. With over a quarter century of patent prosecution experience, Chad concentrates on patent preparation and prosecution for innovations relating to the electrical and mechanical arts, including software, hardware, networking, communications, and consumer products. Clients range from individual inventors to large corporations. Chad also counsels clients in strategic intellectual property planning and opinion work, including product and service clearance with regard to and monitoring of the intellectual property of competitors. Chad has experience in IPR and PGR proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and serves as auxiliary counsel for clients already having primary counsel in connection with PTAB trials and litigation.Chad also is an entrepreneur, having founded a software company and a patent brokerage company. Most recently, Chad obtained his real estate license in both North Carolina and South Carolina and works with his wife, Holley, representing clients in residential real estate transactions as their agent. Chad and Holley are affiliated with Keller Williams Realty in the Ballantyne area, where Chad is a member of the KW Sports+Entertainment division.
