Yamit is the former Head of Research at the Galilee Development Authority, currently working as a public lobbyist, a public representative in the Knesset, and an expert on local governmentHer research "Narratives in Clash:The research Distributive Justice and Land Politics in the Upper Galilee" examines the conflict over municipal jurisdictions in the Upper Galilee between Kiryat Shmona and the Upper Galilee Regional Council. The test case is two committees of inquiry appointed by The Ministry of Interior to examine municipal jurisdictions: Ben-Artzi Committee (1996-1998) and the Razin Committee (2008-2009). This study turns the spotlight on intra-regional gaps and examines the processes and factors that have led to the deepening of inequality and distributive injustice in the Upper Galilee region. It also examines land politics and reveals the and contradictory narratives that have developed over the years around the policy of land allocation policy.The research includes an analysis of archival and textual sources and in-depth interviews. The contribution of the study is in understanding the crystallization of different conceptions of justice and examining power relations as influencing the representation of the distributive justice. Attempt to change municipal boundaries presents another under researched angle of inequality and injustice in a marginal area in the State of Israel..
