A member of the investment team at Wafra Inc. in the Alternative Investments Division (AID).I focused on financial services investments across implementations with a particular focus on venture capital investing across stages and strategic investments in financial services (minority investments in asset management firms as well as seeding asset management businesses) as well as partnership (LP), direct and co-investments in private and public markets across the capital structure. My path was focused on the absolute return LP investments to direct/co-investments across the capital structure in financials and eventually was helping build a venture/growth business that leveraged the platform. Did all manner of investing over time that was a fun and formative experience.

Part of a small investment office charged with managing an approximately $975 million+ diversified, long-term endowment pool. Work across all asset classes with a particular focus on alternative investment strategies. Monitor existing investments, conduct due diligence related to new investments, and conduct searches for new manager relationships as well as general research related to markets and investment opportunities.I was a part of all aspects of the Academy’s investment process - engaging in detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis, monitoring retained investment managers, engaging with external experts for advice, assisting in the making of investment decisions, and serving as a resource for stakeholders through regular interaction with the Investment Committee and Subcommittees.
