Institute of Modern History, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences | Research Assistant - Checked, counted, and sorted 1300 volumes of old newspapers in foreign languages incl. English, Japanese, French, the earliest of which was published in 1914.- Wrote and edited short introduction paragraphs for each of the newspaper collections published online.

Professor Wang Jing’s Research | Research Assistant - Read British biochemist and sinologist Joseph Needham’s works, picked out valuable points related to Prof. Wang’s work, and discussed the findings at the seminar.- Helped Prof. Wang collect and evaluate the reviews and critiques Needham received from other scholars.
