Yan (Mike) Wang is a thoughtful, progressive architect and the principal of Cover Architecture. Founded in 2017, the Los Angeles-based design studio is committed to creating thought-provoking, functionally robust and spatially interesting projects that enrich the built environment. Prior to leading his own practice, Yan worked in the offices of Michael Maltzan Architecture, AECOM and Xten Architecture where he participated and led design teams on numerous award-winning projects in both commercial and residential arenas. Over the past ten years, he has served on juries at institutions throughout Southern California including USC, Woodbury and Art Center College of Design. He is a licensed architect in California and is a member of American Institute of Architects.
