    Experimentally and theoretically investigated the evaporation characteristics of nanofluid for applications in heat transfer, combustion and manufacturing desired micro/nano particles in the pharmaceutical industry. Solely responsible for designing a complex electronic system to allow levitation of a single micro meter droplet. Developed a novel theoretical model to firstly describe the morphological evolution process of nanofluid droplet in the absence of internal recirculation.Developed a theoretical model to firstly describe the two phase heat and mass transfer problem during the evaporation of nanofluid droplet when the internal recirculation is involved.Modelled the laser spark ignition of counter-flow diffusion flames. The simulation was performed by using commercial Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software Fluent.Studied the effect of the particle size on the ignition of metallic nanoparticles. A simple model was applied to predict the ignition temperature of metallic nanoparticles under various particle sizes and pressures.
