I had probably taken more of the gains from language learning.I graduated from Shanghai International Studies University with a major in Arabic and English. In addition to language skills, I also have developed other skills such as business negotiation skills, customer service skills, risk management skills and so on through different platforms.In 2012, being an Arabic speaker by training allowed me to work in Saudi Arabia before I graduated. I was mainly responsible for setting up Saudi office, bidding for infrastructure construction projects, and serving visitors and business travelers. Also I participated various level of business negotiations with local partners and achieved exceptional offers.In 2015, being an Arabic speaker by training allowed me to move to Egypt, my primary role was office manager in charge of putting together an Egyptian team, handling financial risk management and supervised a treasury staff of four, engaging external & internal communication and business cooperation. In 2021, being an English speaker by training allowed me to reunite with my family in Ireland and join the Stripe global risk management team starting from a KYC agent to Risk underwriting quality lead. At first, I was mainly responsible for helping UAE and other countries users onboarding Stripe, conducting the review of their personal identity documents and legal entity certificates according to the workflows, identifying manipulated documents and fraudulent behavior. During the first year, I was awarded above & beyond twice. When I got promoted, I received training on fraud reviews, focusing on spot fraud among different accounts, reduce avoidable losses and mitigate fraud risk. At the same time, I scored the samples completed by agents, helped detecting the fraudulent signals of the tricky reviews raised by the agents and improved the review quality level of the entire team.
