As a dedicated Bachelor of Business Administration student majoring in International Business at Thompson Rivers University, I am passionate about understanding global markets, particularly in the field of sports international business. My academic path has provided me with a strong foundation in strategic thinking, cross-border business practices, and the adaptability needed to excel in today’s interconnected world.In my current role with the YMCA Summer Work Student Exchange program, I serve as a Local Coordinator, supporting three communities. This role involves recruiting youth participants, engaging with local schools and community organizations, and connecting youth with host families for a meaningful exchange experience. My responsibilities have strengthened my skills in community outreach, organization, and fostering inclusive environments where youth from diverse backgrounds can thrive.Additionally, my involvement with the Thompson Rivers University Student Union has allowed me to advocate for positive changes, including developing policies that improve financial conditions for international students. I am committed to creating supportive and equitable opportunities that help people navigate both academic and professional environments.
