I am results-oriented, and adept at building and maintaining partnerships across multiple sectors and functioning in multicultural environments. I received a BA in sociology from the University of Havana (Cuba), and have years of experience in social research and public health. I am the co-founder of Very Verde Health Services Limited, and function as the focal point for matters related to become a Registered Nurse in the USA, especially registration and facilitating preparation for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). Previously, I was a Recruitment Assistant in the Ministry of Health of Trinidad and Tobago, where I supported the recruitment and contract management of foreign health professionals. Moreover, as a specialist in International Cooperation with the Central Unit of Medical Cooperation (Ministry of Public Health of Cuba), I managed the recruitment process for several Cuban Health professionals selected to work abroad and hosted foreign recruitment delegations from the Caribbean and Central America in search of trained Cuban Health Personnel. As a Research Assistant with the National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology (Havana, Cuba) I was part of a team that researched and produced a white paper on the restructuring and reorganization of Cuba’s Primary Health Care System.
