Tecnologico de Monterrey is an educational institution with an exceptional commitment to sustainability, more than 63% of the energy consumption comes from renewable sources, and we worked very hard to mitigate our environmental impact. We developed the Sustainability Strategy for the institution which divided into six-axis: Energy, Buildings, Resources, Waste Management, Culture & Leadership and Well-Being. The primary short-term objective is to mitigate 20% of its greenhouse emissions by 2020, we also defined the guidelines for efficient and green new buildings and promoted the best practices in the whole institution.Activities:-Co-developed the first 2030 sustainability strategy for the entire institution (Tecnologico de Monterrey, Tecmilenio, and Tecsalud.)-Planned and negotiated 1000kW of photovoltaic renewable energy projects. -Developed the first greenhouse gases inventory in 2015 and its quaternary follow-up through Q1-Q4 in 2016.-Secured the GHG Mitigation Strategy towards 2020.-Designed the energy-saving campaign 2017.-Developed collaboration between Infrastructure - Academy in projects for the institution to increase the role of students in living laboratories. New Library Lean Furniture Installation Strategy.-Promoted Distrito Tec Sustainability Analysis on Academic Project of Collaboration between Stanford-ITESM. 2017-Outreach representative role for Tecnologico de Monterrey at International Sustainable Campus Network, ISCN, where we share the best practices in the field of sustainability with the network of leading universities of the world. Indico is an architectural and engineering design firm.Engineering Projects2017Project Management Integral Design of 4 Industrial Facilities - 4,720 m2. Scope of project: Structural design, electrical design, and hydraulic design.2014 Monitor Tec:Monitor Tec is a project that aims to raise awareness of energy, water and gas consumption of an entire campus (40 buildings). -Developed an online web portal where people can view, analyze and compare building energy consumption in real time (15-minute intervals), and natural gas and historic water consumptions of Tecnológico de Monterrey - Campus Monterrey.

Project: Analytical and experimental study of the effect of heavy vehicles on Mexican highways:-Analyzed the effect of heavy truck vehicles configuration according to the Mexican Regulation NOM-012.-Analyzed the structure of flexible and rigid pavements through computer-based finite element method software.-Procurement process of scientific equipment: Data Acquisition System (DAQ), Pavement Sensors, Gauges, LVDT's, Load Cells.-The final delivery was used for the development of the new regulation of heavy trucks in Mexico.

I worked as Summer Intern in the Construction and Design Center in the projects:-Structural design review of a 100m2 eco-house projected to build in Obregon, Sonora.-Structural design review of the Tecnologico Stadium with a capacity of more than 30,000 spectators in Monterrey, Nuevo León (now demolished).
