About Yang Yu

I am a speech recognition engineer with a focus on command language models, the compilation process, and decoders. I hold a BSEE from Tianjin University (China) and an MSEE from Columbia University (US).My expertise in speech technology includes language modeling and decoding, specifically building and modifying WFST, debugging and fixing the compilation process, and debugging and fixing the decoding process. I also possess a general understanding of other aspects of WFST-based speech engines, such as front-end processing, acoustic model training, system building, and wrapping.In addition to my work in speech recognition, I am a SaaS developer and a co-founder of YoungCode LLC. I am currently leading the development of CoverDesignAI, an innovative platform that uses AI technologies to create professional-quality book cover designs for indie authors.
