As a Biotechnology Ph.D. candidate at ETH Zurich, my passion lies in enhancing the understanding of blood stem cell development and the treatment of blood disorders and diseases. My research is centered around the in vitro cultivation and in situ bone marrow imaging of human and murine hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), which are responsible for all blood lineages.I have a notable academic record with a first-author paper published in Blood, and collaborative papers in renowned journals such as Nature and Nature Communications, reflecting my significant contributions to the field of HSC biology. My area of expertise includes lentivirus production and its transduction in primary cells, tissue immunostaining, large-volume image acquisition, and 3D spatial analysis employing imaging software like Imaris. Further, I possess specialized skills in time-lapse imaging for cultured cells across brightfield and fluorescent channels.My educational background consists of a Master of Science in Biotechnology from ETH Zurich and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Jacobs University Bremen. Besides being proficient in Mandarin and English, I possess exceptional presentation and communication skills, enabling me to effectively convey scientific findings and engage with diverse audiences.
