The verdict was affirmed on appeal, and collected the judgment in full amount. Acted as the client liaison for four years, overseeing legal budget and providing litigation strategy to the management.• Class Action Litigation: Represented Walmart, Hyundai Motors, and Fortune 100 consumer electronics companies in putative class action lawsuits filed in state and federal courts in the United States involving various allegations over smartphones, tablets, washing machines, refrigerators, and automobiles. Successfully dismissed cases on motions and favorably settled cases on individual bases.• Section 337 Investigation: Represented a South Korean optical filter company and its downstream customers in an investigation before the International Trade Commission involving 3D Time of Flight (ToF) band-pass filters used in cellphones and tablets. Successfully terminated the investigation and eliminated litigation risk by entering into licensing agreement with the complainant.• Intellectual Property Litigation: Represented Fortune 100 consumer electronics companies in serially filed patent infringement actions in the Eastern District of Texas involving allegations over televisions and smartphones. Motion practice resulted in favorable settlement of all cases.• Pharmaceutical Litigation: Represented one of the largest Korean pharmaceutical companies from milestone payment dispute asserted by early investors. After three days of mediation, successfully convinced the investors to forego filing a complaint in the District of Delaware.
