I have always been inquisitive about how things worked leading me to starting my higher education track in Physics. Growing up, I had a passion for building things and technology, the walls of my bedroom would be covered floor to ceiling with various LEGO creations, some purely conceived from my own imagination. You could also find me assisting my father with his hobby of assembling desktop computers. Things finally clicked when I took my first Computer Science course and combined my inquisitive nature with my love of building and technology. Soon after, I obtained my Masters in Computer Science at Appalachian State University.Starting off my career as a SharePoint Administrator, I worked on various solutions to automate our processes. This included PowerShell scripting, delivering automated workflows using the Microsoft Power Suite, and reducing our technical debt migrating our on-premise systems to the cloud including our company-wide intranet portal. When I switched to a Business Intelligence role, my focus also shifted. I am now more closely aligned with our business initiatives. Working closely with various teams across the organization, combining my technical expertise with business experts to deliver data driven solutions.
