About Yankı Doğan
I attended to Firat University in Elazig, Turkey to study Computer Engineering and mostly due to my long-lasting interest in computers, I loved all the subjects related to computers and that love brought success with it. During my study, I had a strong knowledge in programming languages like Java and C#, web technologies like JSP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and .NET, and database solutions like MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server. In terms of hardware, I learned about integrated circuits and how to code a micro-processor and practiced these things that I learnt in real circuits and processors. Thanks to effective projects, I had a chance to use my knowledge to develop programs, web-sites, mobile applications and useful electronic devices.I went to Bialystok University of Technology in Poland with Erasmus programme during the sixth semester of my studies. It was a great possibility for me to see different cultures and people all around the world. I got to visit different places during my Erasmus period, too which was another excellent thing for me.A few months before my graduation, I applied for a grant which was funded by Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology with a video game project named “The Devoter”, a choice-based science-fiction adventure game and I qualified for the grant that was worth for approximately 100.000 Turkish Liras (approximately 38.000 Dollars at the time). After I completed my degree and graduated, I found a company named “Binarity Software” and started to develop my game with 3 of my friends. We completed the game after 16 months but it wasn’t ready for the release and due to some economic troubles, I had to shut down my company and keep developing the game for its final version at home.On September 2017, I started studying my master’s degree in Computer Science at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology and as of June 2019, I have completed my master’s studies.
