About Yanko Lionel Pedevilla

I am a chemical engineer with 19 years of experience, of which the last 11 have been dedicated to the nuclear industry. My primary specialization is in nuclear process engineering, including safety systems, auxiliary systems, and radioactive waste management. I have worked on a significant project within the sector, actively participating in the design and development of key systems. This long-term work has strengthened my knowledge in the optimization of nuclear processes and continues to this day.In the first 8 years of my career, I worked in automation and control in the oil & gas sector, where I gained experience in control loops, P&ID, and automation systems. Although this experience was more focused on that sector, it has complemented and reinforced my ability to tackle the complex challenges of the nuclear industry.I consider myself a proactive, results-oriented professional with a collaborative approach. I have refined my project management and leadership skills, overseeing teams and closely collaborating with other departments to ensure the success of the projects I participate in. With a strong commitment to technical excellence and continuous improvement, I am prepared to contribute significantly to the advancement and innovation in the nuclear sector and in other industries.
