Yanming organized HackShanghai - the largest collegiate hackathon organization in China before 2017, as one of its two directors. In addition, the event is the very first international hackathon in China and the first bilingual hackathon in the world.HackShanghai was restructured into China League Hacking in 2018, as Yanming handled the organization over to some more capable hands.- Designed and implement business strategies. Made the event became the first bilingual hackathon in the world as well as the largest/best collegiate hackathon in the country.- He raised more than USD$80,000 in two months as the only fundraiser for his team.- Led a 55+ members team, hosted regular meetings, allocated assignments and etc. - Dealing/Negotiation experiences with top-notch firms like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, ICBC, IBM, Microsoft, Fidelity Investment and other 20+ companies & startups which directly and indirectly involved into HackShanghai in 2015. And he liaised/negotiated with the representatives & executives from these institutions.- Solved the legal perspectives such as drafting/editing/translating contracts, consents, releases and relevant materials with Mr. Daniel Magida, who is the Associate General Counsel of the New York University.- Handled complex desk works such as design business plans, proposals, status reports, press releases and etc.- Be interviewed / be covered by CNN, Forbes, WSJ, People's Daily (人民日报), Global Times (环球日报) and etc.
